چکیده

The impulse water turbine is a promising energy conversion device that can be used as mechanical power or micro hydro generator, and its application effectively ease the current crisis. This paper aims to clarify mechanism of liquid acting on runner blades, hydraulic performance, characteristics in domain an with splitter blade by using experimental tests numerical simulations. was divided into seven areas along flow direction, variation analyzed reflect characteristics. obtained results indicate critical area for doing work front half while rear blades does relatively little even consumes produce negative work. high concentrated passage facing nozzle. gradually evenly distributed from inlet outlet, caused separation probability reduced. clarification performance great significance improve design turbines.
